The work is decided before the Pour.
We don’t rush to numbers before we understand the site. We start by reading the ground, the elevations, and the water path, then we design the details that determine whether a driveway lasts.
01
Site Read
We walk the site and identify where water goes now and where it needs to go when the driveway is finished.
02
Base & Prep
The base is what keeps your driveway from settling into low spots later. We build it to stay stable.
03
Slope Design
“Slightly off” is still wrong. Slope is what decides whether water drains cleanly or collects.
04
Joint Plan
Concrete can crack over time, joints decide where it cracks. We plan them to keep cracking predictable and less noticeable.
05
Pour & Finish
We finish the surface for how you’ll use it, traction, clean lines, and a professional look that fits the home.
06
Cure Guidance
Cure matters. We set expectations clearly so the driveway performs long-term.
Options, Explained in plain English.
Most people don’t need more options, they need clarity.
We’ll walk you through choices based on:
Traction & safety in wet season and winter
Maintenance (what stays cleaner, what shows wear)
Use case (parking, turning, foot traffic, guest flow)
Curb appeal (clean lines that feel premium without being flashy)
No pressure. Just straight answers.
Clear scope. Clear timeline.
A driveway project goes smoothly when the work is defined before it starts. We set expectations early, keep communication simple, and avoid the “surprise add-on” games that make people regret hiring the wrong crew.

I've hired Pat's Pound & Pour many times now for smaller and larger jobs, ranging from bulged sidewalk repair (required by the City of Portland...erg) to a slab for a detached studio, as well as stairs and retaining walls. They are awesome !

I have lived in Spain and Japan and traveled to 25 other countries. I have been in jobs in the service industry my whole life. Expecting great service is not a character flaw.
David Sideras
Outstanding service. I am new to the area so was at loss for who to call. Professional level at all points of contact. Jarrod is the best. Great price. They showed up on time and leveled the yard and poured a new driveway in no time. I have had over a year's use so far and the job will clearly last a lifetime. Use this company first for concrete.
